Hi Everyone!

I very much enjoyed this week’s readings on intimacy. This week’s topic really got me thinking about intimacy and the importance of intimacy in relationships. I think we can all agree that intimacy is one of the building blocks of a meaningful friendship or relationship. But, what about intimacy with ourselves? How many of us actually have deep, meaningful, and intimate relationships with ourselves?

I believe that I do have an initmate relationship with myself, but I believe I still have a lot of room for growth in this area.

Here are some tips I have brainstormed to create deeper intimacy with oneself:

-Spend time alone.

-Make time to feel, acknowledge, and process complex emotions.

-Be your own best friend.

-Do things that bring you joy by yourself.

-Use your creativity.

-Journal.

-Go for a walk.

-Take yourself out on a date.

-Self-Care.

There is so much more that I can think of, but here are just a few!!

What are some ways that you can create a deeper and more intimate relationship with yourself?
