Proficient report writing is vital in criminal justice, serving as a key tool for effective communication, evidence preservation, and informed decision-making.

In this assignment, you’ll act as the responding officer to three different scenarios presented in a media activity.

  1. Start by opening the media activity, Criminal Justice Report Writing | Transcript. There you’ll find three scenarios.
  2. For each scenario, you’ll download the most appropriate type of report and fill it out with information from that case. (Hint: The activity will guide you in selecting the appropriate form.)

For each of the three scenario cases in the media activity

Complete the report for the given scenario, including accurate information from the media activity and “n/a” to indicate where information was not provided.
