Thinking about their ideas and arguments, utilize the two articles in this folder on medicine and colonialism to answer the following question: How has “Western thought” influenced medicine and health across the world and why is it important to “decolonize” medicine? In answering this be sure to define what is meant by decolonizing medicine and how can it be achieved? Be sure to connect the writings of Fanon and Anzaldua to the issue of health and medicine.
