In this course, you’ve read articles and watched videos to develop your knowledge about key aspects and challenges in the corrections system. You’ve also studied how institutionalization impacts individuals by interacting with Walk In My Shoes: Navigating Corrections as an Officer and Incarcerated Person. Now it’s time to present the fresh perspectives you’ve gained on correctional facilities’ operations and conditions through your experiences navigating the corrections system as both an officer and an incarcerated individual.

Interact & Reflect on Walk In My Shoes, in Section 4.3: Inmate & Officer Conduct. You’ll find the Walk In My Shoes simulation in the “Interact & Reflect” dropdown. Remember, it’s important to interactive with the inmate perspective first.
