State a criminal justice hypothesis that has practical value and is of direct relevance to crime control. Then, describe the research design you would use to test that hypothesis. Remember, a research design has at least three components:

  1. Data collection process
  2. Instrument development process
  3. Sampling process

Be specific, thorough, and original. You cannot earn credit for duplicating hypotheses or research design particulars that have already been posted. (It is certainly fine to duplicate general research design elements, such as “survey” or “experiment” but, beyond that, don’t simply repeat/copy what your classmates have already posted.)

Write 300-700 words, using key terms and ideas from the assigned readings. Make sure you cover strengths and weaknesses of the proposed design.
