Planning Today; Implementing Tomorrow
Both planning and implementing are exciting parts of any public health program, but you must be aware of your challenges. Challenges can be found in resources, staffing, or community participation. You must take into consideration the possibility of issues when you are in the planning and implementation stages in order to better address these issues when they occur.
Describe your role in the planning and implementation stages as it relates to your practicum. Be sure to consider the following:
-
What challenges are you currently facing or expecting to have to face?
-
Include information regarding resources and budgets.
If you do not have any planning or implementation responsibilities, then discuss at least three (3) ideas that would improve the planning and/or implementation processes.
Write your initial response in approximately 300 words. Apply APA standards to citation of reference sources.
By the due date assigned, post your response to this Discussion Area. Through the end of the week review and comment on at least two peers’ responses.
Evaluation Criteria:
-
Justified your answers with appropriate research and reasoning.
-
Commented on the postings of at least two peers.
-
Discussed resources, budget, and any challenges that your project is already facing or likely to face.
