Week No.:

3

From:

02/02/2025

To:

06/02/2025

1. Tasks and Responsibilities Completed During This Week:
During the third week, I started my main task at Hadeed following its separation
from SABIC. This involved collecting user feedback for the User Acceptance
Testing (UAT) regarding the new SAP system and identifying necessary
modifications in Sales and Distribution (SD). Throughout the week, I compiled this
feedback and documented it in an Excel file for future review and analysis.
2. Challenges Faced and Strategies Used to Overcome Them:
Challenges:
Difficulty reading some unclear notes from users, making it challenging to
understand the feedback accurately.
Insufficient familiarity with the Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, leading to
difficulty in determining the importance of required modifications and
categorizing them correctly.
Solutions:
Using AI for text analysis: I took pictures of the unclear feedback and used AI tools
to analyze and understand its content accurately.
I sought assistance from an IT specialist to clarify some ambiguous comments,
which helped me categorize the feedback correctly.
3. Were the Challenges Resolved?
Yes, by using AI for text analysis and communicating with IT specialists, I was able
to accurately categorize user feedback according to types of defects and their
severity levels, which helped improve the accuracy and efficiency of the data
collection process.

4. Skills and Knowledge Gained During This Week:
Improved data collection and organization skills, especially using Excel.
A deeper understanding of the role of the Sales and Distribution (SD) department
within the SAP system.
Used AI tools effectively to analyze unclear text.
Enhanced problem-solving skills through consulting specialists and relying on
reliable sources for data analysis.
5. Additional Notes:
This week was an important experience where I dealt with practical challenges in
collecting, classifying, and analyzing data. I look forward to the next week to
continue improving the process of collecting feedback and analyzing defect
trends to support system improvements more efficiently.

1. Tasks and Responsibilities Completed During This Week:
During the fourth week, I continued gathering user feedback from the Sales and
Distribution (SD) department about updates to the SAP system. We also toured
the SABIC Data Center, currently located in the Hadeed building until its
relocation is completed.
The Data Center is vital to the company’s operations, hosting essential servers,
databases, and applications, ensuring business continuity and data protection
through efficient cooling systems. It features uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
systems that keep operations running during power outages until backup
generators kick in.
This week, I faced no significant challenges, as I utilized solutions from previous
weeks to collect and classify feedback. I found it valuable to learn about the Data
Center’s infrastructure and how operational systems work in practice.
2. Skills and Knowledge Gained During This Week:
– A deeper understanding of data center infrastructure and its significance in
operating technical systems.
– Familiarity with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and their role in
maintaining operational continuity.
– Knowledge of how fire protection systems function in data centers and the
importance of using nitrogen to safeguard electronic equipment.
