Scroll down to Additional Resources  and click on Historical Data (2005 – 2018). Click on “View by Category”. Then under “Choose organization type” use MED.  

  1. Using the graph “Breaches by Org. Type Over Time, what year has the largest number of reported breaches?
  2. Select breach type of “PORT”. Which organization had the most portable device breaches? Hover over the number of breaches.  What happened?
  3. Now select a different “type of organization” that you are interested in. Who had the most breaches? And what year did they have the most breaches? Be sure to include what criteria you selected when answering!

  2. Who had the largest amount of breaches for hacks in the financial organization?
  3. Which educational group had the most breaches with portable devices?
