When selecting someone for a role, it’s often a challenge to decide whether to promote an employee from within the organization or to hire someone outside the organizations. On the one hand, you may find a high performer within an organization who is ready for a promotion. On the other hand, you may find a new employee with a fresh background and new and innovative ideas. There are many factors to consider in the interview process, and once you have all of the information you need about your potential candidates, the choice can be very tough to make.
