You will research and choose a public safety crisis where a critical decision was made; one that had a significant impact on life, property, or the environment.

 Instructions: 

You have selected a topic for your course project and conducted research. ( The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (2010) 

With your research, you developed an annotated bibliography in which you analyzed your resources. For part III of the course project, you will compose a paper on a public safety crisis where a critical decision was made.

 • Provide a background on the public safety crisis you chose. 

• Identify and discuss the critical decision(s) that were made and how they had a significant impact on life, property, or the environment.

 • Explain the outcomes of the decision(s), positive or negative. 

• Identify and discuss any bias, external factors, or political influences that may have impacted the decision(s). 

• Identify and discuss any ethical considerations surrounding the decision(s). 

• Examine the information that you collected and determine if the decision(s) that were made were appropriate. Justify your response.

 Requirements:

• Paper should be four to six pages, excluding the title and reference pages. 

• Use at least three primary sources as references.

 • Submit a Word document with APA formatting.
