Overview:

 In this unit, you will continue working on your course project. All your research and focus for this course project will be taking on the role of an emergency manager who has to brief an elected official (mayor, governor, etc.) on a threat agent of your choice. You will discuss the agent, its historical use, its effects, why it is of concern, detection, and response methods. For this unit, you will create an annotated bibliography to aid in writing Part III of your course project 

Concerning the course project I have selected Biological Welfare Agent WBA as my topic of interest.

Instructions: 

You will submit an APA formatted annotated bibliography using the template provided based on your approved course project topic. Your resources should be relevant to your chosen agent, its historical use, its effects, why it is of concern, detection, and response methods. You will include at least three primary sources for this assignment. Each annotation will be 1-2 paragraphs in length and will consist of at least two of the following points: 

  • The importance of the source to your topic.
  • The accuracy of the information in the source.
  • Limitations of the source.
  • A brief comparison to your other sources.

Examples of primary sources that can be used for this assignment: 

  • Government websites, documents, and investigations
  • Military websites and investigations
  • Laws and legal documents
  • Academic and professional journals
  • Newspaper articles containing first-hand accounts
  • Interviews with witnesses
  • Documentaries
  • Data from studies and surveys

Requirements: 

  • Use a minimum of three primary source references.
  • Write one to two paragraphs per source for each evaluative annotation (three to five sentences in each paragraph).
  • Submit a Word document with APA formatting.
